Cota Electric Inc offers three types of appointments. Please read the descriptions carefully and choose the one that best fits your needs.
A member of our team will visit your residential, commercial, or industrial location to walk through the project with you. During this visit, we’ll gather all the necessary details to provide an accurate estimate, including materials, labor, and any other associated costs. Estimates are completely free of charge.
Our electrical troubleshooting service is designed to quickly identify and resolve issues in your home’s electrical system. Whether you're experiencing flickering lights, power outages, faulty outlets, or other unusual problems, our skilled electricians use advanced tools and techniques to pinpoint the root cause.
Note: Diagnosing an electrical issue can take anywhere from a few minutes to longer, depending on the complexity of the situation. However, even if the issue is identified within just one minute, the minimum charge for a troubleshooting visit is $200. Once the problem is diagnosed, we’ll provide reliable repairs when possible. If additional materials or labor are required, we’ll prepare a detailed quote outlining all necessary repairs so you know exactly what to expect. If you choose to proceed with the recommended repairs, the $200 troubleshooting fee will be waived and only the quoted repair amount will be charged. However, if you decide not to move forward with the repairs or prefer to get a second opinion—which we fully respect—the $200 fee must still be paid at the end of the visit, as the service of diagnosing the issue has already been performed.
An electrical inspection with a written report is a comprehensive evaluation of your home’s electrical system, conducted by a certified electrician. During the inspection, we thoroughly assess all wiring, outlets, panels, and electrical components to ensure everything is safe, up to code, and functioning properly. Within two business days of the inspection, you’ll receive a detailed written report summarizing our findings. This report highlights any potential hazards or code violations and provides recommendations for repairs or upgrades. It gives you a clear understanding of your home’s electrical condition—helping you make informed decisions to protect your property and your family.
